Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MigrateMyChats ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Velosym Media.
What the Service does
MigrateMyChats is a browser-based tool that helps users convert and package their ChatGPT conversation export files into a format suitable for use with Claude by Anthropic. The tool processes all data locally in your browser. No conversation data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to export and migrate your own conversation data.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code for commercial redistribution without permission.
- You are solely responsible for the content of your ChatGPT exports and any data you process through the tool.
Paid tiers and refunds
Paid access to certain features is processed through Lemon Squeezy. All sales are final. Because the Service is a software tool delivered instantly upon purchase, we do not offer refunds except at our sole discretion in cases of verifiable technical failure. If you experience an issue, contact us and we will work with you in good faith.
No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Velosym Media does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the results of using the Service will meet your expectations.
We make no representations about the compatibility of output files with Claude or any other AI platform. Platform APIs and import behaviors are outside our control and subject to change by their respective providers.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velosym Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Intellectual property
The MigrateMyChats tool, branding, and associated materials are the intellectual property of Velosym Media. Your conversation data remains your own. We claim no ownership over any content you process through the tool.
Third-party platforms
MigrateMyChats is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with OpenAI or Anthropic. ChatGPT is a product of OpenAI. Claude is a product of Anthropic. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will update the "last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
