🔒 The short version: MigrateMyChats processes everything in your browser. Your conversations, personal context, and project data never leave your device. We don't collect it, store it, or transmit it anywhere.
Who we are
MigrateMyChats is a product of Velosym Media, an independent media and software company. You can reach us at our contact page.
What data we collect
Your conversation data: none. The tool runs entirely in your browser. When you upload your ChatGPT export file, it is processed locally using JavaScript. No file contents are transmitted to any server — not ours, not anyone else's.
Your personal context: none. Any custom instructions, project names, or preferences you enter in the tool exist only in your browser session. When you close the tab, they're gone.
Contact form submissions: If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and any message you choose to send. This data is transmitted via Formspree to our email inbox. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry.
Payment data: If you purchase a paid tier, payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs that transaction.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before any such tracking begins.
Third-party services
- Formspree — contact form processing. See their privacy policy.
- Lemon Squeezy — payment processing. See their privacy policy.
- Vercel — website hosting. Vercel may log standard web server data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) per their infrastructure practices. See their privacy policy.
Your rights
Since we don't collect your conversation or usage data, there's nothing to request deletion of. For any contact form submissions or purchase records, you may request deletion by emailing us via our contact page.
Children's privacy
MigrateMyChats is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
